Solar Powered

Wedding season is a happy time for me. Not only because it’s a busy time full of weddings, surrounded by loved up couples and their happy families, but because it’s warm weather.

Spring and summer are by far my favourite months and I try and make the most of it. In recent years I’ve come to the conclusion I’m solar powered. If you put me on a beach under a blue sky with clear water to swim in, I’m happy. It gives me energy and puts a smile on my face. Maybe as I’ve gotten older and spent more time in an office my body has craved more sunshine and that’s why my hair betrayed me and fell out. Who know?

I will say it is much easier to put on a suit to do a winter wedding compared to getting all suited up for a wedding on a hot summer’s day but it makes so much sense for weddings to be held in Spring and Summer.

The photo with this post was taken in Sardinia on a European adventure last year. Sunshine and warmth make me happy and travelling to new places isn’t far behind.
